A very successful season with creations in the U.S. and Australia saw Paul working with Philadelphia own Koresh Dance Company for their spring season and Stalker Theatre in the Sydney, as well his current creations for Duda Paiva Company touring through Europe.

"Pieces of Nine" for Koresh Dance in Philadelphia opened to great public and critical acclaim and begins a journey with Koresh that both parties intend to continue into the future. Paul also created for City of Brotherly Love’s UArts with “ The Return” a restaging of the work for Holland Dance Festival’s amateur initiative Wisselwerk. (www.koreshdance.org).

Summer saw Paul down under with Stalker Theatre Company as Co-Choreographer and Dramaturg with the creation of Mirror Mirror. It was his first commission for Stalker and culminated in a wonderful union of ariel work, theatre and contemporary dance. Noordezon Festival offered its Big Top as a preview and then the team flew off to make the full evening version in Sydney’s own Carriageworks. (www.stalker.com.au)

Paul now returns to Dutch shores for a three new creation periods: a full evening dance work for his own crew to be produced by Korzo Theatre/Cadance Festival, celebrating the opening of the new building (www.korzo.nl). After the multifarious collaborations with Duda Paiva Company, Paul will also create a new solo with Duda Paiva, the master himself. This production will also premiere in the Cadance Festival (www.dudapaiva.com).

Continuing his dedication to all things pedagogical, he will make a show for the students of Tilburg’s Fontys Dansacademie. (www.fontys.nl)

Paul will then be back in the U.S. later in the season for a creation of a new work for Donald Byrd’s Spectrum Dance Theatre, Seattle. (www.spectrumdance.org)

After more that 20 years in The Netherlands, Paul will is currently in the process of immigrating to Australia, where he will begin his Doctorate Studies in Dance with QUT in Brisbane, Australia and set up a production unit to support his artistic endeavours there.
